Preheat the oven to 350 and cook roast for 2 hours at 350 and 3 and 1/2 hours at 325 degrees F. Roast the pork for 35 minutes per pound, uncovered, until the skin is crispy-brown. In order for the skin to become crunchy you will turn the oven up to 400 degrees and cook for an additional 20 to 30 minutes.

No, you dont have to sear the steaks if you dont want to. I do this to add color, flavor, and texture to the meat but you can skip this step if you like.
If so, you should simply leave the steaks in the oven until the internal temp reads 145 F.
If you want, you can also sear the steaks before they go into the oven. Make sure to only sear the meat for a few minutes on each side as you dont want them to overcook.

After you bring your pork chops home, time to brine! Brining pork chops is one of the best ways way to guarantee a juicy cooked pork chop. Even a quick 30-minute brine makes a big difference.
Its not strictly necessary you can still use this method to make great pork chops even without brining but if you have some extra time, I recommend it. Brining actually changes the cell structure within the meat, resulting in a noticeably juicier chop.
The salt brine also seasons the interior of the meat. It wont taste salty just well-seasoned. You can even add other seasonings, like garlic, peppercorns, fresh herbs, and lemon, to the brine for more flavor. If you fear bland pork chops, definitely give brining a try.

How To Make Honey Garlic Porkchops
Prep your ingredients!!!
First, you season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides and set aside
Followed by the honey garlicsauce, to a small bowl, add honey, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, sage,smoked paprika, chilli powder and soy sauce and mix to combine then set aside.
Place a skillet on medium heat, add the olive oil and heat until hot or when the oil starts shimmering. Add the seasoned pork chops and sear until browned for 2 minutes on each side
Move the pork chops around in the skillet to create a well in the middle, then add the softened butter then move it around the skillet until melted. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the pork chops and continue to cook for another minute or 2 basting the pork chops with the sauce and flipping it once during this time.
Finally, this step is optional but recommended for a caramelised finish. Preheat the oven grill and broil for 1 to 3 minutes. Please note: the sauce might separate when grilled do not fret as this is completely fine.
Transfer the pork chops to aplate, sprinkle some chopped parsley over it and cover with a foil, rest thepork chops for at least 5 minutes before serving.
