As mentioned before, pork tenderloin is a very lean cut of meat but what exactly does that mean? In addition to being a low-fat choice of protein, it is also very low on flavor. If you want a flavorful pork tenderloin, we recommend marinating it or seasoning it heavily. The good news is that since it is so mild, pork tenderloin takes on flavor easily you just have to give it a little time. While you can certainly add flavor by using a spice rub, we love adding flavor by marinating pork tenderloin in one of our 3 delicious pork tenderloin marinades Balsamic and Rosemary , Maple Dijon , or Sesame Ginger ! Allow your pork to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or, if you have the time, up to 24 hours.
How To Make Roasted Pork Tenderloin:

Prep: Preheat oven to 400F with the rack in the middle.How To Remove Pork Tenderloin Silver Skin: Trim tenderloin of fat and any silver skin and pat dry with a paper towel.
1. Combine 1 tsp sea salt, or to taste, 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper, 1 tsp Italian Seasoning, 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp ground coriander.
2. Pierce pork loin all over with a fork and rub with 1 Tbsp oil than sprinkle onto the tenderloin. Use your hands to rub the spices into the tenderloin until evenly coated.
3. Heat 1 Tbsp oil over med-high heat in a large oven-safe pan . Once oil is hot, add pork and brown on all sides .
4. Place in the oven and bake uncovered at 400F for 13-15 minutes, flipping the tenderloin over halfway through baking. Bake until center of pork registers 150F then transfer to a cutting board and let meat rest 5-10 min before slice into rings to serve. It doesnt need a sauce, but it is also really good served with A1 or BBQ sauce.

Since tenderloin is a cut of meat that has very little fat, it can become tough very quickly when overcooked Im providing my best tips and tricks to bake the perfect dinner, every single time you make it.
Once youve gathered all of your ingredients, were going to follow this method:
- Prep. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil. In a small bowl, combine garlic, basil, oregano, thyme, parsley, and sage. Set aside. Generously season meat with salt and pepper.
- Sear. In a large pan, heat oil until shimmery. Add to pan, and cook on all sides until dark golden brown.
- Bake. Transfer to baking sheet. Generously coat with herb mix. Place pats of butter on top of the pork. Wrap in foil, bake until meat is 145 degrees internally at the widest, thickest part of the tenderloin
- Rest. When pork has come to temperature, remove and let rest, tented with foil, for at least five minutes to lock in juices.
- Enjoy! Slice against the grain and serve immediately.

Yes, you can turn this into pulled pork, but I recommend using any leftovers for pulled pork. A full pork loin will make a LOT of shredded pork!
To make pulled pork, portion off the pork you want to make into pulled pork. Use two forks turned backward to shred the pork by pulling the meat apart.
- Spray a baking pan with oil and add the shredded pork.
- For every cup of shredded meat add 1/2 cup of broth or pan drippings to the pork.
- For every pound of shredded meat add about 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce.
- Stir well, then slide back into the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the entire dish is bubbling. Enjoy!
